How It Works
Choose a World Expander
Purchase the World Expander you’d like to make and explore with your family.
Build It
Print it. Cut it. Fold it. Glue it. Write in it. Explore the subject.
Expand It
This is the important part. Add something of your own to the project.
A World Expander isn’t meant to be a finished worksheet. It’s a starting point for your own exploration.
Share It
Show other people what your family actually did. You can share it wherever other people interested in homeschooling, education, or hands-on learning might see it.
If you’d like, we’ll also give you an affiliate link so you can earn commissions on sales you refer.
What Does “Expand It” Mean?
We want to see your family take the World Expander beyond the printed pages.
Add something you made, found, researched, cooked, collected, experimented with, or otherwise experienced as part of the project.
Ancestral Pueblo
Make your own yucca or dogbane cordage and add a piece to the World Expander.
Inner Asian Pastoralists
Make or experience something connected to the subject—for example, exploring traditional dairy preservation or making a version of aruul.
Desert Ecology
Add a real natural-history object connected to your study, such as a legally obtained shed snake skin or other appropriate specimen.
Your project doesn’t have to look like ours.
In fact, we’d rather it didn’t.
The whole point is to take a World Expander and make it your family’s own.
What You Need to Share
We’re deliberately keeping the requirements simple.
Your post, video, or collection of posts should show:
- The World Expander being built — show your family printing, cutting, folding, assembling, or working on it.
- Your finished World Expander — show the completed book and some of its interior details.
- Your own addition or project — show what your family added, made, collected, cooked, experimented with, or otherwise did to expand the subject.
- Your experience — tell people what you actually did with it.
Where Can I Share It?
Wherever other people interested in learning might see it.
- Your own blog or website
- Your Facebook page or profile
- A relevant homeschool or education Facebook group
- YouTube
- TikTok
- Another public community where the post is relevant
Your own website or social page is ideal, but you don’t need one.
We’re not looking for a polished advertisement. We want to see what real families actually do with World Expanders.
Get Your Purchase Refunded & Earn
Once you’ve completed the Creator requirements and submitted your content to us, we’ll review it.
If it qualifies, we’ll refund the purchase price of your qualifying World Expander.
Your World Expander can effectively cost you $0.
You do not need to make a single affiliate sale to receive your refund.
Affiliate participation is optional.
If you choose to use an affiliate link, however, you can continue earning commissions whenever another family purchases through your link.
You Don’t Have to Be an Influencer
This isn’t a program just for people with thousands of followers.
You might share your project with a homeschool community, write about it on your small blog, post it to your Facebook page, or make a video for your YouTube channel.
What matters is that you’re sharing a real experience with people who might genuinely be interested in hands-on learning.
One Important Thing
Please be honest about your relationship with World Expanders.
If we refund your purchase, clearly disclose that relationship when you share your experience.
If you also choose to become an affiliate, disclose that you earn a commission from purchases made through your affiliate link.
For example: “World Expanders refunded my purchase as part of their Creator Program, and I earn a commission from purchases made through my link.”
