With each purchase you will get a set of instructions: what paper to use, what size and resolution and what type of papers we recommend.
This post is to help you know what you need to do before you buy – and the best ways to go about it.
you will want to print in full color, on matte 80lbs to 100 lbs cardstock.
Printing generally costs $0.50 per page.
Printing can be done at home but if you’re like me your printer is rarely used and the ink has probably dried up.
A local public library is a great resource as they often have full color printing, and if you bring your paper, they will often print on the cardstock for you.

there are FOUR documents – first is the ephemera, notes, envelopes and other things that should be printed on a single side on high quality paper, in full color.
second are the sheets used for the pages. There are 8 to 10 of these sheets. The third document are the prompts & resources: these are questions and topics to explore, along with resources that range from freely accessible YouTube documentaries, educational websites dedicated to the topic, as well as book recommendations that can be checked out at the local library – and museums or locations that display aspects related to the topic such as visitor centers. This is okay to print out in normal copier paper and black and white.
Fourth document are the instructions on how to decorate a journal, how to build the pages and the spine, how to glue the pockets and folders, and recommend glue for this. If this is your first world expander – it can be printed on regular copier paper in black and white. If you’ve done it before – no need to print if you have a copy or know the process.
on top of that it is available HERE as a PDF file and as a webpage.
